The Most Wonderful Event... Ducks!!

One of our favourite events is currently taking place again this year... Incredible Eggs provided us with a 10 day hatching kit and three of them have hatched! The eggs come from a 200 acre farm in Derbyshire and the owners, Michael and Zoey have 4 breeds of ducks - Indian Runners, Khaki Campbells, Silver Appleyards and Cayuga's. 

 

The children and staff have such a truly wonderful time observing the whole process, it is an amazibg educational experience and we will all be very disappointed on Thursday when the ducklings have to return back to the farm.
